Some people have reported problems with the sound level
( they say it's too low to hear in very crowded places ) but the mother I spoke to did not have the same problem.

Kids like the colors and look/styling of this vest-style harness and don't complain about wearing it (unless it's 120 degrees).
Use for older kids that normally use a booster seat.
