The pump itself is very compact, it's all the extra's that make it bulky. The carrying bag makes pumping on the go very discrete.

Wish i would have bought this when my son was smaller. Supports every nook and cranie. I loved it because the baby bjorn really hurt my back, and you aren't supposed to use that until they are like 8 lbs. My son was 3 lbs when he was born, and just over 4 when he came home. A carrier like this one would have worked much better.
