Editorial Reviews

From the Manufacturer
Let your baby join you at the table and eat in harmony. Thanks to curved legs and six height positions, the Harmony Highchair pulls right up to your table so Baby gets a front-row seat at family meals. The dishwasher-safe tray insert pulls out, so your baby can stay seated while you're preparing or cleaning up her dinner. The one-hand, three position recline easily accommodates even young diners, whether they're drinking a bottle or just digesting one. Once Baby starts solids, you'll appreciate the wipe clean seat, and she'll love the removable snack tray with cup holder.

Customer Reviews

Quite satisfied4
I received this model from a friend was a bit nervous after reading the reviews but have been pleasantly surprised. This replace an older model Peg Pergo (PP) Prima Pappa we have been using.

What I like about the Harmony....
-Easier to clean than my PP since the crevices on the seat aren't as deep due to thicker padding of the PP. Although I could see that the ruffles being an issues if your baby likes to grab at them with dirty hands.
-The waist straps are placed slightly higher (vs. at the level where the seat meets the back). This makes it easier to locate the straps once I've set my son in the chair.
-The plastic/vinyl appears less likely to crack and less "brittle" than the vinyl of the PP.
-The tray moves in much closer to his body which eliminates much of the lap mess. I even find less food in his bib pocket.

Disadvantages over my older PP...
-Doesn't fold up as compactly although not an issue for me since I never fold it up between use.
-The PP has a larger/wider seat for baby although this one appears adequate.
-I could see the potential for baby to figure out how to remove the tray cover although I'm hoping to avoid this by keeping the tray close enough to his body. Not an issue at this point.
-The bar on the rear axle (or whatever) sits at the same level as the wheels. I guess you're intended to lift the front or back up to move the highchair? Too much of a pain when you're both seated. I prefer to be able to reach out and pull him straight towards me.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this highchair. Although if it weren't a hand-me-down I'd be curious to compare it with the Fisher Price Healthy Highchair which receives rave reviews by most.

easy to use, hard to clean3
I've found this chair easy to use, and pretty secure. It's nice that the back can recline so if the baby falls asleep at dinner you can just lean her back, and the one-hand controls are pretty good. However, it's hard to keep the seat and straps clean. The covering has a rough-textured fabric ruffle all the way around that collects sticky food debris, and the tag says "surface clean only", which is preposterous. I periodically take the cover off and scrub it hard with a brush in the sink, then dry it over the radiator, which works okay but is more work than it should be. The straps don't remove at all, so they get pretty disgusting. If you can find a highchair with either a completely smooth wipable cover, or one you can throw in the washer and dryer (and a duplicate cover for while you're washing one), that would be better.

great!4
I like this highchair and so does my daughter. The only problem i have is that it can be hard to roll on thicker carpet.
