Gets raves
I have gotten compliments on this umbrella! It's a parasol (that parallels the name for a rain umbrella in Spanish, paragua, 'for the water', with parasol, 'for the sun.' I regret that I got it caught in my bike spokes, but bought a little circle of black ripstop nylon and fixed it handily. It's fashionable, hence the compliments, super well-made, and I am putting it to much use!

Great shade!
I bought this for my mother who is in assisted living and uses a electric wheelchair. She sits outside a lot in the sunshine and sometimes forgets how long she is out in the sun and use to get sun burn. This takes care of that and helps to keep her cooler too.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I was looking for an umbrella that would not only protect me from the rain, but protect me from the sun too & this one fits the bill completely. On top of that though, I can't believe how light it is! This thing is awesome and I've gotten lots of great comments about it. For what i want it for, it's perfect, but I wouldn't use it in terrible gail force winds. With it being this light, I can't imagine that would go well, but not too many umbrellas do work well for that unless they're super heavy duty.
