Size DOES matter
This is a really great item for my newborn who fusses - if she won't nod off (or gets the hiccups), I carry her around in it and she ALWAYS falls asleep. The only caution is that I ordered a larger size thinking it would be more comfortable for me, however, the sling hangs too low and bounces around alot rather than being more snug fitting like the photo. Definitely don't upgrade a size! Even so, it still works well for me but will take a toll on your back after a while. We also have the Baby Bjorn which is great as well for my husband, I recommend having both options for different reasons (flexibility, different features).

Best sling ever!
This sling is the best! I've been using it since my son was 2 weeks old and he's now 17 months old. It's so much easier to use than other types of baby carriers because you just slide baby in and out. I keep it on me the whole weekend so I can pop baby into the sling soon as we get out of the car, then pop him back out to put him on a shopping cart, pop him back in when we're checking out, without any hassles of using rings and buckles, etc. Great to tote baby around the house also. I also love the black since it blends into all the black tops I wear. Sleek! We have 5 baby slings and carriers including the Belle Baby Carrier, Ergo baby carrier, Baby Bjorn and some cheap Jeep one, but this is my favorite by far.......

Worked out in the long run.
I bought this sling with baby shower money. I didn't have a lot of luck with it in the first few months. It was difficult to get the baby in and out of the sling in the cradle carry, although with more time this would have probably been easier. I found it such a hassle to get him in and out that I would just carry him instead, plus he really didn't like the sing anyway.

However, when he got a little older I got it out again to attempt the hip carry. So much easier than the cradle carry, and no complaint at all from my son. Easy in and out, no fuss, this was exactly what I had in mind when I bought the sling. I'm hoping to get some serious wear in before he hits the 36 lb mark. I would have rated it higher, but a $50 product that claims to be great for 0 mos to 2 yrs and really only (to me) started delivering at around 7 mos and that he will outgrow at 1 yr... well, still a good product but didn't deliver the way I thought it would when I purchased it.
