The miter slot table allows for the use of table saw jigs, tenoning jigs and expands the mitering function of the table saw. A great accessory.

Perfect fit to complete my saw
This miter slot along with a right side mounting kit made it possible for me to make miter cuts from both sides of the blade with my saw when the precision of the sliding miter tabe is not needed. It also provides a bit more width for stability when ripping wider boards. This makes my BT-3000 much more usable.
