Amazon.com Product Description
The Fein 1-3/8-Inch E-Cut Precision Saw Blades are ideal for flush cut applications in wood. The flush-cut design of E-Cut blades let you place the blades flat on surfaces perpendicular to the cut. Designed for the MultiMaster precision saw, these blades increase cutting speed to almost as fast as a jigsaw or reciprocating saw. With a fine tooth configuration, this pack includes three saw blades.

Customer Reviews

Useful but pricey3
The Fein Multimaster tool and associated blades are invaluable for those specialized tasks that no other tool really does well, as advertised. I used these blades to custom fit a cabinet for an under-counter fridge where some cuts were necessary that would have been almost impossible with any other tool. Very easy, very tidy.

However, the blades wear out quickly and are very expensive. It is too bad Fein won't make them out of bi-metal, or lower their price point. They are missing a much bigger market out there, in my opinion. Use them when you must, but only when you must.

Fein Precision Blades Good but Costly4
These Fein tool blades Cut very precisely for the uses for which they were intended. When cutting into wood near a wall or in tight spaces, it fits but those spaces usually may have nails or other obstructions which will tear up the blades quickly. There are no sawall type bimetal blades for cutting nail embedded wood yet. Can make the job expensive. Taking out an antique wideboard heartwood floor which I needed to put back in the same place, cost me over $600 in blades. Worked great but expensive.
These Fein blades are still under patent but will be coming off in about a year. Then other can creat better blade products at a much more competitive price.

Just too expensive1
The multimaster is the tool for plunge cuts. But the blades are way too expensive. If I can buy an excellent utility 7 inch carbide blade from Freud for $9, and a durable sawzall blades for $3, why must a Fein blade cost $19?

Teeth sheer off on nails.
