We all know the saying, "better than sex." Some people say that chocolate is better than sex. Others say that bungee jumping is better than sex. Still others claim that drugs are better than sex. Supposedly, there are a lot of things out there that are better than sex. However, I never use this phrase because, to me, there is nothing better than good sex. And in my opinion, people who use this phrase probably have never had good sex. Isn't it time you did? That's what this book is about. It's about the stuff you need to know that no one bothered to tell you. It's about freeing yourself to get to that better sex and having that better sex. Exploring subjects such as exhibitionism, repression, and oral sex, Good Sex-A Woman's Guide to Losing Inhibition is a must-read for anyone seeking a more fulfilling, less inhibited sex life.

Very helpful
If you have a robust sex life - then this book is not for you. One reviewer put it "if your paralyzed by sexual inhibition ...". I agree in part - one of the big things the book does accomplish is help with inhibition - but I would not say you have to be 'paralyzed' - for it to be beneficial.
We found it very helpful. The writing style was down to earth and easy to read.
Inhibited writing. Laughable, almost.
I was hoping for something slightly more substantial than a "Good Housekeeping" article. This book didn't deliver.
I did not find one piece of enlightening information. The examples were reserved, cursory, and read like stereotypical cliches. Some of the "just do it" pieces of advice were laughable (if not insulting to any intelligent reader).
I felt like this inhibited writing was more of a personal catharsis of a tittering "neighbor lady" than a real delving into inhibitions and working through them.
I have never written a critical book review before. But I bought this book based on the recommendation given here. And I felt like I completely wasted my money and my valuable time. So much so, that I felt a responsibility to share these thoughts in hopes of preventing others from the same disappointment.
Okay if you're really inhibited
This book might be a worthwhile read if you're paralyzed by sexual inhibition with no friends or family or therapist to talk to, but frankly it's just some woman with no professional credentials waxing on about her particular sex life. I found it to be lacking in any less than obvious insights, a complete waste of money really.
