great walking shoe
Can't believe I waited so long to try something that has done so much for me. I'm flat footed and had serious back trouble until these sandals got me out walking again on a regular basis. They took no time to break in and are the best purchase I've made in footwear for years. I wish they made a plain black version I could get away with at work.

Really just as good as the more expensive pair I bought
After deciding to buy the much more expensive "Terra-Fi" Tevas (which I reviewed separately) I received a pair of Teva Hurricanes as a gift. I have to admit, that although the soles on this pair are not as thick as the soles on the "Terra-Fi" these are just as comfortable, and if anything more conventional in the way they feel on my feet.

If you really only need one new pair of Tevas (I now own and wear 4 pairs) you really probably only need one of these less expensive Hurricanes. Indeed, for the price of one pair of "Terra-Fi" you can buy two pairs of Hurricanes, which is probably the way to go. I don't regret owning one pair of each, because I don't like to wear the same pair two days in a row, and my feet enjoy experiencing the different feel the two different Teva designs provide them, or so they tell me.

Uncomfortable even while sitting
I purchased these Teva's for Kayaking. These are the most uncomfortable sandals I have ever worn. They are even painful while sitting in a boat. I do not recommend them!
