Does What It's Supposed to...and it's Inexpensive!
Love this cable...and who can beat the price?!?!? Sound and video quality is great...not sure what the difference would be between this and other, more expensive cables, but I highly recommend this! Thanks, as always, Amazon!

A good, solid cable.
It does what it supposed to do. It's solidly constructed, as solid as can be expected from an S-Video cable. One downside is that the slug ends are the typical round construction. I personally like the plugs that are flat on one side so you can easier tell the pin orientation of the plug. This makes connecting the cable to equipment easier and quicker. All in all, it's a good cable, not a great one.

Works but package was opened....
I'm not exactly sure if I received a Philips brand s-video cable because the package was clearly opened; perhaps a customer return? In any case, it works and it was cheap so I'm not going to complain to Amazon but I'm disappointed in Amazon for sending me a package that had been opened.
