The Saucony Women's Progrid Hurricane 10 Running Shoe provides the perfect blend of cushioning and stability for runners seeking pronation control and a plush ride. These lace-up shoes feature lightweight breathable mesh uppers in a stylish athletic design. Excellent shock absorption and comfort is achieved with ProGrid technology, which absorbs impact, dissipates shock, and provides a seamless transition from heel through forefoot, as well as dual-density SSL EVA midsoles, which maximize rebound and durability while minimizing weight. Ortholite insoles provide improved step-in comfort with rebound properties, and the included SRC Impact Zone technology provides shock attenuation and sets the foot up for a smooth transition, while Impact Interface technology cushions and isolates heel impact. Arch Lock technology makes for a snug midfoot fit, and the included HRC Strobel Board increases cushioning and comfort. The shoe is finished with a blown-rubber XT900 outsole.

On my 2nd pair5
My first pair of Hurricanes were the light blue/white ones. I have just gotten my 2nd pair in the black and silver.

These shoes are very durable and I found them to be very comfortable. They have held up well with no visible wear, though I ONLY use them on the treadmill and don't know what track or trail running would do to them.

I have flat feet that pronate when I run. These keep my arches stable.
I should note that I have terrible knees-- knees that should have had surgery 11 yrs ago (orthopedic surgeon recommendation!). I have never been able to run daily without knee pain until I got these shoes. I run at least every other day for 30 minutes and the first pair lasted me 6 months... that's pretty good considering their mileage!

These are highly recommended if you have pronation and joint problems!!

UPDATE: I have recently purchased the new Hurricane 11. While they are extra cushioned I would warn someone with feet that are flat (like mine) that these are uncomfortable on your arches. I came off the treadmill with blisters in my arch. The new ones fit much snugger and I felt like my feet were being squeezed lifeless... I do not have wide feet but an average width). I will stockpile the Hurricane 10's as they are much better for flat feet.

Very uncomfortable1
The worst pair of Saucony Hurricanes I have ever owned. This is my 6th pair of Hurricane; The X's are a poor comparison of the V's and 8's of the past. They are very uncomfortable and the arch lock causes pain after just a few miles due to it's poor design. Not worth the high price. If this is what Saucony (StrideRite) considers improvements, this is definetly my last pair!!

Saucony Progrid Hurricane 105
This shoe is amazing! I'm training for a 25k trail run and a half marathon and I never thought it was possible to run that far...until I found the right shoe and the right training program for me. Of course, as with any distance training, the shoe can't do it alone, I also found a great running insert at Lady Foot Locker to go with it. The shoe/insert combo makes me feel like I'm running on a cloud!
I'm even more stoked that I found such a great deal at Amazon...since these shoes are NOT cheap! LOL
