Baby's Journal: A Book of Firsts is a pleasant little book with simple, sweet illustrations done in jewel-toned colors. It includes all the usual spaces for memories of the baby shower, birth and growth statistics, firsts, etc. In addition, Baby's Journal includes some more creative features: a tiny envelope for a lock of baby's hair, a page called "Days and Ways with Papa," and a space for recording "Our Wishes for Baby." The 7-by-7-inch pages have enough room for choice remembrances and photographs, and on each is a small, subject-appropriate graphic. Also included with the journal are a set of illustrated postcards for keeping relatives and friends updated on baby's progress, and an illustrated fold-out chart for measuring baby's growth. The hardcover book is tied with a satin ribbon to help contain all the precious keepsakes sure to be tucked inside by the end of baby's first year. --Katherine Ferguson

A wonderful keepsake for my child
Funny illustration in this book makes it a unique baby book I've ever seen. It's also makes you more inspired to record your memory or hopes for your child in the future. The tiny envelope to keep a lock of baby's hair is really something else, too. I wish I could have this book again for my other children in the future.
