Editorial Reviews
From Library Journal
PreSchool-Grade 3-Upbeat, colorful concept books, each one illustrating 21 animate and inanimate objects that fly or roll on wheels. In both titles, a rhyming riddle on the verso is answered by lifting the flap on the right. Crozon uses creative examples of what can fly, such as a floating autumn leaf, a boomerang, dandelion seeds, and a superhero. Things with wheels include a caravan, a moon rover, a backhoe, a four-wheeler, and a chariot. However, the anthropomorphizing of some inanimate objects is annoying, as is the fact that they all have crossed eyes. Also, the rhythm of the riddles varies. Finally, some of the examples will be unfamiliar to preschoolers, and the books are unlikely to interest those who will understand them.

Another Darling "Riddle" Book
Another great riddle book in the series. Each page has 3 different "riddles" describing something that rolls. The answer is under the flap. My 3 year-old loves these books. He'll have me read them over and over!
