Trail Riding5
This book is great for anyone that trail rides and who is bored with the show scene and is ready to see the world on the back of their horse.

A "must read" for every trail rider.5

I found Janine Wilder's book to be informative, interesting, and certainly fun to read. She mixes lots of humor in with good sound tips that she has learned herself from the miles and years of trail riding shared with her husband, Jim. If you are a beginning trail rider who wants to know how to get started and what to expect, this book will be a great teacher. Experienced trail riders will be pleasantly surprised to find that they will also learn as Janine expresses her thoughts and offers suggestions, and will chuckle as they relate to some of her stories. The many pictures capture beautiful scenery but also show, better than words can express, the fun that can be had in riding the trails. This book will make a perfect gift for those who love horses, the outdoors and, of course, trail riders!

Excellent practical advice from an expert5
Janine Wilder and her husband Jim have ridden more miles in more states than almost anyone in modern-day America - 50,000+ miles in 49 states. Janine's advice is both practical and interesting. The book contains tips on choosing the right trail horse and how to make him your perfect companion, how to get the best equipment, and how to deal with obstacles on the trail. It is a fountain of useful knowledge for beginners and seasoned travellers alike. I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to learn about trail riding.
