About the Author
MaryAnn has been in the field of education for over 20 years. As a special education teacher she worked with emotionally and learning disabled students from pre-school through high school. She holds an M.S.in Family/Child Counseling, a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education and is an adjunct instructor at the graduate level for Marist College and SUNY New Paltz.

Out of her passion for teaching and love for children she designed and implemented a variety of training programs for educators and parents on self-esteem and discipline.
