The Dark Side rips the mask off the MLM industry5
Patrick J. Smith's analysis of the problems facing the Network Marketing (MLM) industry is insightful. It is really spooky that Philip Kern's book and Smith's book, written 20 years apart, are in many ways so similar. I've been waiting for years for someone to have the courage to reprint Kern's book (it's worth all "5 Stars" just to buy this for this section alone). Some people may be "put off" by the Bible quotes at the end of each chapter, but the core analysis and tools that he gives the reader are more than worth it, especially the "30 Questions" section that arms the novice with the right questions to ask any potential "sponsor." Really, really good. "MLM-ers" will probably hate this book.

Don't be suduced by the dark side...4
This book is essential for people who think they're going to become financially successful through Amway or other similar network marketing schemes. The sheer amount of families who have been destroyed by Amway and its imitators is significant and sad. The book also includes a reprint of an earlier Amway expose that is difficult to find these days.

Another failure in MLM writes a book1
Isn't it getting a little old that another person is writing a book about the Amway model ruining their life? Amway and now Quixtar created the most self made multi millionaires in the history of this country and has created wealth for any person that wants it. I bet if Patrick spent as much time building his business instead of being a critic he would have the life only imagined. No one has ever done anything great by wetting on themselves anytime the going got tough.
