"Finding the Eat your Way to a Healthy Life book was an answer to my prayers. I was looking for solutions to my continual weight gain and health problems and I was very excited to find this complete book that dealt with me as a whole person. Since I have started applying these principles from the Zoe 8 program, I have lost weight and many of the health issues have improved in the short time I have been living this new way of life. My cholesterol dropped 49 points in one month, something my doctor and I have worked on for years with very little success in bringing down. Thanks Ed & Elisa for sharing your life and giving me the hope that I too can have the abundant life God wants me to have

Is this a biography or a weight management plan?
The title implies that the book is about food and a healthful lifestyle but a large part of the book is a biography. One of the authors talks about himself quite a bit in the book to the point where I was getting really frustrated and thinking, "Okay, get to the point!". The authors also mention "God", faith, and prayer quite a bit. It was a bit of a put off. On the up side, there is some information in the book that has to do with good and bad food choices, recipes, suggestions, etc. I am going to try to find another book that is more to the point that incorporates the Glycemic Index into a weight management program.
