Straight from the Motor-City Madman comes the wildest, most politically incorrect book yet. In The Nugent Manifesto, rocker/hunter extraordinaire Ted Nugent is taking aim and setting his sights on our country. In his trademark unapologetic style, Nugent will praise God, guns, and red-blooded, full-throated Americanism against pantywaist politicians, nanny-state judges, and tofu-eating Obamamaniacs, calling on readers to "Roll up your damn sleeves, sharpen your crowbars, and think hardcore." The Nugent Manifesto follows up his New York Times bestseller God, Guns, and Rock 'N' Roll and his wildly successful cookbook, Kill It & Grill It. Look out America, "The Nuge" is back--and with a whole new arsenal of "Tedisms" ready for launch!

Editorial Reviews
From Publishers Weekly
Love him or loathe him, veteran rocker, commentator, and neo-libertarian rabble-rouser conservationist Nugent is hard to ignore. His "manifesto," a collection of essays and ruminations, will prove bracing but familiar to those acquainted with his antic, aggressive voice-in-the-wilderness style and often controversial stances on hot-button issues like gun control, welfare and self-reliance. Among loud, provocative analysis of a dozen issues (plus a chapter devoted to his last essay collection, 2001's God, Guns & Rock and Roll), Nugent puts together an "If I were president" list that includes eliminating welfare except for military personnel, making prisoners plant trees, forcing people in New Orleans live on higher ground and executing child molesters. While many of his suggestions-meant to "piss you off" as well as think-are pat, or even curmudgeonly ("I am convinced that most kids today have never heard the word 'posture'"), they're balanced by common sense and a healthy respect for the Golden Rule. Longtime fans will revel in Nugent's loudmouth charm and his rhapsodic take on discovering the guitar; whether he'll persuade newcomers that global warming is "the greatest hoax ever played on Americans," or that he himself is "a large, in charge, ruggedly independent, angry black man" is doubtful, but this maverick never claimed to be a uniter.

From the Inside Flap
It's About Time
America has been craving leadership--and at last a gun-slinging, mega-rock star, deerslayer, and patriot has stepped forward to provide it.
Make way for Ted Nugent.Cocked, locked, and ready to rock, the Motor City Madman, the thinking man's Abraham Lincoln, has unleashed the ultimate high-octane political manifesto for the ages in Ted, White, and Blue--the most important patriotic statement since the Constitution.
In Ted, White, and Blue you'll discover:
* Why war is the answer to so many of our current problems* Why if Ted were a Mexican, he'd start a revolution (and how, since he's not, we can control our own borders) * How to put Uncle Sam on a diet (a waste-watchers program for government)
* The Ted Plan for energy independence by 2018--how to keep America rockin' into the future * How to change the world for the better through the power of God, guns, and rock `n' roll
If you care about America, if you want to preserve, protect, and defend the land of the free and the home of the brave, if you're fed up with lazy, whining, fear-mongering, government-gorging Al Gores, Michael Moores, and Obamaniacs, then you need to read Ted, White, and Blue: The Nugent Manifesto.
From the Back Cover
Praise for Ted Nugent and Ted, White, and Blue: The Nugent Manifesto
"The media look at Ted Nugent as an extreme right-wing, self-serving, gun-toting, uncaring, kill-`em-all redneck. Truth is Ted just has endless energy when it comes to talking about productivity, responsibility, and ways to become a better citizen. Uncle Ted's rule book is a very demanding agenda for the average human to live by. But then again, Nuge is not your average bear."
Toby Keith, country music star"I love Ted's music, his message, and his unapologetic, manly approach to life. If you like words carefully and slowly simmered with a sweet sauce, you'll hate this book. If you like a message that's fresh, rare, and highly seasoned, and pure meat, you're gonna love this! Rock on!"
Mike Huckabee, former governor of Arkansas"Some are attracted to Ted Nugent for his lifestyle of conservation management, others for his political courage, and many more for his rock `n' roll. For me, it's all three. Nuge has had me in a `Stranglehold' for years, and his musings in Ted, White, and Blue will keep me on his tour bus for many more."
Michael Smerconish, Philadelphia's number one radio talk show host"Ted Nugent is the closest thing to a human tornado I've ever met. He lives life at mach speeds, boldly pouring himself into matters deeply personal to him. His efforts to support U.S. troops wounded in the defense of freedom and his selfless devotion to children with life-threatening illnesses are just two indications of the gentle heart that beats beneath the surface of this wild-eyed warrior. His story is as American as rock `n' roll and as inspirational as Horatio Alger. I hope Ted, White, and Blue opens your eyes to the challenges of our times and the limitless opportunity in our country. I pray it encourages you to live life boldly and in the spirit of the wild!"

The Clarity Needed for Our Soul and Our Economy
As a fee-only fiduciary in the business of providing investment advice, I'm dealing with a lot of random emotions these days as a result of our inept Beltway policies and unconscionable Wall Street greed. These "leaders" of ours lost their adult sense of reason around the risks associated with reality, and how to prudently manage them, in this case with money (and lots of it).
Needing a little shot-in-the-arm of clarity around this concept of human nature and risks inherent in it, I busted open my ordered-in-advance copy of Ted Nugent credos as soon as it arrived yesterday. Reading a portion with two of my three recently adopted kids last night, we all felt energized with renewed conviction for the important things we're here to do in our lives. To see such a misunderstood man write about how in performing life's most difficult yet necessary tasks, "...it is equally manly to bawl my eyes out, sobbing uncontrollably over the heartbreak and trauma of such an act" (page 12), would surely help many to see that this is not a crazed lunatic, but one of the greatest humanitarians (and thankfully rock and rollers) to walk our planet in our lifetimes. The man is not perfect (and who is?) but he loves our Constitution, Declaration of Independence and Emancipation Proclamation ("The American Way") like few I've ever come across.
With our global markets in turmoil as they are today, the need for elemental management of risk in complete awareness of primal reality is on high. Hunka Ted delivers exactly that, with intensity and certainty. Had more of our politicians and business people been even remotely in touch with the core issues elucidated here, we'd be in a period of continued prosperity now and not the pathetic state of fear and chaos that so many are shamelessly gripped by today.
Godspeed to you, reader. Get the book, devour it and let's take the best of what it has to teach us in creating a better world for our kids. It's our gift to leave behind, let's celebrate and get it done now.
Public Office needs Ted!
Arrogant? You bet... On topic, intelligent ideals with passion? You got that right! Ted, White and Blue should be read by every free thinking, rational American who believes in freedom, the Constitution, and old fashioned morals. It's really a shame that people like Ted more than likely do not run for public office. America could really benefit from many of the points covered by Ted in this book. I really enjoyed reading (for once) the truth spoken without fear about how far America has drifted to an age of entitlement. Freedom loving people need not just take it anymore, and stand up for what is right. Hold our politicians feet to the fire. We must realize what the founding fathers stood for, and what they believed people are capable of when the Government isn't involved. Ted's book doesn't just fill your head with useless banter or complaining. It most certainly encourages a different perspective. It's a perspective that brings your head out of the sand and into the fight. Love freedom? Then you'll love this book, but only if you have a spine and believe in yourself that is.
Uncle Ted at his finest!
Wow, what can you say about the maverick Ted Nugent that hasn't already been said? In his manifesto, "full bluntal nugity" is loud and in your face. He has an uncanny ability to tell-it-like-it-is in an eloquent professional way. His manifesto has his solutions to the problems that we as free-thinking hard-working americans face everday. It is more important that ever to heed the words in this book and to be prepared for what lies ahead in this great nation. God Bless Ted and God Bless America!
