Product Description

Finally, the third level multi-track CD course for Behind the Wheel Spanish which requires no reading and which teaches you to actually speak advanced level Spanish including the dreaded ‘subjunctive tense’ quickly and easily and with a minimum of time and effort. Designed by the experts at Language Dynamics, 'Behind The Wheel Spanish 3' takes you, the learner from intermediate to advanced level Spanish without the guesswork and pain usually associated with language learning. An expert English speaking instructor talks you through these multi-track CDs in English while 2 trained professional native Spanish speakers teach you Spanish the way it is really spoken. One voice is male and the other is female for added instructional value. So you thought you really knew Spanish yet you don’t even know the subjunctive tense? Wrong again. The truth is that you simply cannot REALLY speak Spanish like a native WITHOUT knowing the Spanish subjunctive. The subjunctive form has all but died out in the English language but in Spanish it is used CONSTANTLY in everyday conversation. Native Spanish speakers judge the overall quality of your Spanish by your ability to correctly use the Spanish subjunctive tense . The problem with most methods is that they use a long and tedious GRAMMATICAL APPROACH to teaching you this and other complex forms of the Spanish language. Language Dynamics once again takes the foreign out of language and teaches you to use the Spanish subjunctive and other complex verb tenses NATURALLY, quickly and easily while behind the wheel in the security and comfort of your own car. No formal grammar is presented and you learn to speak authentic Spanish the way the natives speak it, naturally like you learned English as a child. Behind The Wheel Spanish 3 For Your Car is the ideal way to master this and other complex forms of Spanish while you drive because there is no confusion, no reading, no looking up meanings, and no guessing. It's all on the CDs. Use your commute time to effectively learn Level 3 Spanish with this delightful course whose method will have you speaking advanced Spanish within minutes of receiving your course, and enjoying it. This product has superb clarity of voicesand exudes a spontaneity which makes learning Level 3 Spanish fast, easy and fun.

Awesome! Best Yet.5
Having successfully used both Behind the Wheel Spanish Levels One and Two, I searched for an appropriate sequel and found none until Language Dynamics finally came out with this Level 3 version of Behind the Wheel.
What I like about this course is that it actually begins with the hardest part of the Spanish language (and the most used). The subjunctive. And they even made that easy.
Good voices and even better production than usual. Great value.

Another Outstanding Volume in a Great Series5
I've tried many Spanish self-paced teaching methods and this is among the very best. The series is progressive and comfortably paced. The key is that you are constantly translating small 'kernel' sentences. Most methods have you repeat a speaker without having to think. In this method, you are given a phrase in English first and then a quite moment where you say it in Spanish. Finally, the phrase is repeated in Spanish for you to compare to your answer. This process mimicks how we speak naturally: you get a thought and then you formulate your sentence. In addition, emphasis is given to the most common words and phrases.

Great product - fills a needed niche4
This is an excellent product to improve your fluency, but most likely it will not be the last learning tool that you will need to feel completely comfortable with the language. Personally, I am now working on level six of the Platiquemos program. I have also used Pimsleur, the Practice Makes Perfect workbooks, and converse with a spanish tutor.

With these CDs no book is included or necessary, given that spanish words are easy to spell once you learn the pronunciation. The speakers are very clear. The usual style of teaching on the CDs is to present the listener with a phrase in English which s/he should translate out loud into spanish in the pause provided. There are a few entertaining stories in spanish as well.

The CDs includes the present subjunctive and the imperfect subjunctive. I was pleased to discover that it also included practice in the imperative, conditional, preterite, and imperfect indicative.

I enjoyed the CDs and plan to listen to them again. They progressed at a nice pace.
