This beautiful book contains just enough information for you to design and decorate your living room-without getting sidetracked by fussy details. Living Room Essentials begins with Getting The Elements Right, which covers room planning, color schemes, and the basic components of the room, from furniture to window treatments to storage. In Putting It Together, interiors expert Judith Wilson showcases different looks and needs, from retro style to "family friendly". Hard-working bullet points and plenty of color photographs supplement the text, and each style closes with an inspirational montage page.

not much here
there is little in this book to recommend a purchase. Better off looking in house mags. I hope the author's other books are better.
