This clearly written, well researched book tells us how we know things without knowing we know things. There is much more that goes into how we make our decisions than we realize.

This book is profound beyond anything I was expecting. Within it, it explains not only many mental disorders people may suffer from, but more amazingly, it tells us how they may be helped. Reading this book reinforces there is nothing you can't do if you truly put your mind to it. Such a deeply hopeful book.

This is a gem of a book. Such good advice on how best to view your life. Happily, I stumbled upon an old used copy in a thrift store, and I've read it now about three times so far. Filled with quotes and such level-headed advice. It gives you simple and practical tips on how best to approach living our lives.

One of my all time favorite books. I had no idea all the components working behind the curtain that I totally take for granted. It's often only when something goes wrong do we realize there was a part of us making it go right in the first place. Sacks writes with poetic and loving prose.
