Buy new: $18.99 Totally weird, but this stuff works. A few "nuts" (actually dried fruit from the soap berry tree) in a cotton bag... toss it in the laundry and that is it. No need for fabric softener either. My last load was full of sweaters and a pair of fleece PJ pants. No static!
I haven't washed anything filthy yet, but so far for standard dirty laundry it works very well.
