So many more shots are recommended for babies and young children these days it can be a bit overwhelming. This is a great resource for learning more about all those shots and it includes suggestions for how to spread out the shots if such a thing floats your boat.

If you think it can't be pleasant for a baby or young child to poop their pants regularly, this book (or any book on infant pottying/elimination communication) is a must. If you do try to EC from birth, be gentle with yourself and your child if at first it seems like more trouble than its worth. Remember the poops get messier and potty training can get harder as the little ones get bigger.

There is no downside to learning a few signs and sharing them with your baby and anything that gets communication going in both directions is a good thing. I'm sure there are other good books on this topic. I liked this one because it uses ASL signs and has a fairly extensive glossary (if not the most intuitive).
