This is the newest Nualla Anne McGrail book. Very enjoyable.

Memoir of a Vietnamese immigrant growing up in Grand Rapids, MI. She came to GR as an 8-month old, but she never felt as though she fit. Food and the longing for it became her focus.

Very enjoyable tale of intrigue set in Venice and an American base because of the death of a young US soldier in Venice.

I listened to this on CD. It was hard to get into at first as she labeled each character in the painting, but it was a fascinating insight into the characters as well as Renoir. The models are accurately identified with the exception of the 14th. The book ends 41 years after the poainting in 1919 with a brief recap of the models and Renoir's lives.

Great cop thriller with lots of twists and turns. Karen is really deleoping as an author.

Very interesting story of the writing of the US Constitution. Non fiction that reads like the great story that it is. Includes little known arcane but interesting details. A big plus for me is the quotes with outdated words that are new to me such as iniquitious!

The tale of a divorced Brit expat who owns a B&B in a small Tuscan hill town and is threatened when an American buys a nearby villa to open a boutique hotel.

I listened to this in the car. Very well done. Great fun with a new word of the day running through the plot. Interesting look at a famous murder from a young woman/girl's view.

Fun Chirstmas tale set on a dude ranch.
