Normally I am not a fan of re-makes because the originals get it right the first timel. I still enjoy Romero's film but I enjoy this one so much more. This film should be the template for all remakes.

I saw this in the movies when I was a kid and the story blew me away. There are very few movies I see that catch me off guard and this was one of them. A great mystery with plenty of twists.

THE action film as far as I'm concerned. After Die Hard came out, every action movie for the next decade was compared to it in their reviews. Cannot wait for part 4.

An old Henry Fonda film about lif in colonial New England around the time of the French and Indian War. Worth the time just for some of the characters.

Def Leppard is one of only a handfull of musical acts where I buy the album as soon as it comes out. Not everything they do is golden but I usually enjoy most of their songs.

And yes, Neil Diamond is also on my list. This is another song writer I didn't get to know until I was older. I prefer his classics but his new album is a strong comeback.

This was my first Jeffrey Deaver novel so it was obviously not his last. I've read other novels by Mr. Deaver but I am always partial to a Lincoln Rhyme mystery. (Don't let the movie dissuade you).

Did you like Blade Runner? What about Total Recall? They were both based on the work of Philip K. Dick, but you haven't experienced the story unless you've read him. Always enjoyable.

Before "The Dark Knight Returns", "Sin City" and "300", this is the creative run that put writer/artist Frank Miller on the map. This enormous hardcover collects the entire initial run on daredevil. This is definitely worth the price of admission.

I used to think Frank Miller was the only writer who could do Daredevil. Boy, was I wrong. Brian Michael Bendis' run is the stuff of legend accompanied by the amazing art of Alex Maleev.
