Amazon.com Review
How do we maintain or lose weight without giving up small pleasures in life like a night out on the town with the girls or a stiff martini after a long day at the office? That was the question that prompted me to begin looking at alcohol differently. Instead of trying to avoid it, I'd prefer to find ways to modify recipes and habits so I can still enjoy my favorites. Hence the advent of SkiinnyTinis! I was so proud of my concoctions and revelations that I felt compelled to share them with the rest of the social drinkers who share my struggle. The recipes in this book have been tested, and users have rated them just as tasty as their high-calorie counterparts (if not tastier). The only difference? They have less than half the calories.

About the Author
Teresa Marie Howes is an expert in nutrition with a career in the weight-loss industry. Although she's always known the "right" things to do to stay trim, like many, she's struggled with actually following through. Her very active social life in San Diego, coupled with her career in weight loss, led her to recognize how much women battle with social drinking when it comes to balancing fun with their figures.
Throughout her career, Teresa found that it's more effective to empower people to live long, healthy lives without having to sacrifice everyday joys. Instead of telling clients to give up certain foods and activities, her approach is to find creative solutions and small modifications to habits that allow women struggling with their weight to continue enjoying life's little pleasures.
That's why she's so passionate about SkinnyTinis. Through recipe books, skinnytinis.com, and small class instruction, she's on a mission to show social drinkers that they truly can have all the fun for half the calories!

This book is genius!
I am so happy I bought this book! I love a good cocktail and this book is full of FABULOUS low calorie cocktails. All of the original skinnytinis sound amasing and I can't wait to try every single one. The skinny tidbits and Earn Your Party sections are a great bonus to the recipes. So far I have sampled the Skinny Margartia, the Skinny Pina Colada and the Cabo Sunset and they all tasted great! I'm not a big fan of artificial sweetners and was worried that I wouldn't like these recipes. But I couldn't even tell they were low-cal. Next up...the Skinny Chocolate Martini!

Love this book - every bar (or kitchen cabinet) must have one. Finally, a reasonable solution for those of us that exercise, eat right and try to stay in those "skinny jeans" without blowing it in one night out with the girls. Love the vanilla chaitini... yum, and how about the skinny cosmo? It's about time. Sex and the City girls will need this for the next movie! This book is easy to use - and a reason in itself to have a get together. A must have.....
SkinnyTini's Book Review
This informative book offers the latest tips for women to create their own cocktails at any time, using a variety of mixers! This has opened up a whole new world of drink ideas for me, especially when going out. I especially love the Cactus Chill, made with agave nectar and tequila and the skinny Bellintini, made with champagne and sugar-free peach syrup! The pictures and commentary in the book make you want to try them all!
