Round Cut Diamond Anatomy

The diamonds are near-colorless, with a minimum color rating of J, and appear white to the eye. The clarity rating of these diamonds is I3, meaning there are small inclusions that can be seen somewhat easily under 10x magnification and possibly to the human eye. The cut, proportions, and symmetry of the diamonds--characteristics which determine their brilliance--are good. Most to nearly all of the light that enters through the table, or top facet, of the diamond will reflect back out, creating the deep brightness, or brilliance, that gives diamonds their special allure.

buy the $58 1/4ct princess cut studs instead
While I know you get what you pay for, I bought both the $48 1/4ct round studs and the $58 1/4ct princess cut studs. The princess cut diamonds, although they are listed as the same clarity etc., looked much more clear. Overall I have been very impressed with Amazon diamonds. Good quality and very fair price.

Beautiful but Tiny
I bought these because they match my engagement ring. They do, and that's great, but I'm disappointed because they don't stand out the way I thought they would. They were much smaller than I expected. They aren't tiny-nose-ring sized or anything that small, they're just small for earrings. They're pretty, but not glamorous. In fact, no one really noticed I was wearing them until I asked them what they thought of them. I guess you don't get much better at this price when it comes to diamonds. Don't get me wrong... the quality is more than fine... the size was just a shock... they probably said how big it was in the description & I just didn't notice or understand.

Incredible Value
I was looking for a little something for my wife for Valentine's Day. I looked at a Jewellery store close to where I lived and the same earrings (same clarity and color) were over $300 Canadian. Although Amazon won't ship jewellery to Canada, I had them sent to a friend in the US who in turn sent them to me. They are beautiful earrings and a steal at $48. The diamonds were very clear. A fantastic deal!
