Try these on in-store BEFORE BUYING ONLINE if you get the chance.4
Okay. I seriously love these boots. The calf area fits my legs fine and my calves are pretty normal size. The material feels great against my skin and kept my legs warm on a chilly night out. I get lots of compliments on these boots and they definitely go great with skirts, dresses, shorts and jeans. They're wonderful!

The reason I only gave them four stars and my only complaint is that I wish I had a chance to try them on in-store before I bought them online. I'm normally a perfect size 8.5 everywhere in all different types of shoes. Okay, sometimes I'm a 9 in high heels since I don't like my stilettos to be too tight. But basically I'm an 8.5 most of the time - NEVER an 8.

But for some reason, these 8.5 boots were a bit too big for me. The first time I tried them on they seemed a tiny bit loose - even a bit snug but after I walked around my house in them for a little bit I swear they kept getting looser. Anyway, I didn't think too much of it and decided to wear them out for a date night to the movie theatre. As the night wore on, I swear they kept stretching and getting looser. By the time I got home, my heel was definitely sliding out of the back heel part every time I took a step.

So the lesson of this story for me is that I should not have worn them outside of my house. Instead, I should've returned them and gotten a size 8. But now I can't because it's obvious they've been worn!

Anwyay, the lesson for you is - try them on in the store. Walk around in them and if they feel even the tiniest bit loose, I would go half a size down just to be on the safe side because THESE BOOTS WILL DEFINITELY STRETCH!

But it's not the end of the world though. I can wear a thicker pair of socks and it will offset the extra room in the heel but then my feet look way wider and fatter than they actually are so that kind of sucks.

Besides the fact that these boots do stretch a lot - I really do love them. Just take your time trying them on in the store before you buy them online.

Great! Pretty big on my calves but i can't find any this style for the price!

brown suede boots3
They're the perfect size, so don't let it stop you from buying these if you're short because I bought them & I'm short. Really short. Under 5 ft short! I got the brown suede ones; they're pretty. It's a dark brown like in the picture. I really want the black & gray ones too, but I bought these because they were on sale. (I never buy boots and the brown ones were cheaper than the other colors by 20-30ish bucks). There was a bit of brown glue on one boot, but I just picked it off and it looked fine. They really keep my legs warm and they do look good, but they're loud when I walk around. Kind of like when I wear heels.

Don't expect them to be able to stand upright on their own; they are, after all, knee high boots. They also fit true to size for me, and I can wear them with big socks. I think that they're comfortable even though the soles are pretty flat. The first time I tried them on, they seemed a little tight, but then they seemed to stretch out as I used them more and more. There's also this big brown garter (stretchy) thing in the back that at first looked ugly, but then again who cares about the back when they're supposed to be looking at the front? Besides, I like it because when I sit down, my knees don't feel constricted by the boot. I also really like the semi-pointed toe thing. Really pretty. If you're looking for something that isn't too pricey, I'd suggest this. Although, the slouch doesn't always look flattering, but the different styles of wearing these boots are a major plus!
