LOVE these little patties
Although these are not an exact duplicate of the original York patties, they are really tasty, and I like this new texture even more than the other kind. While the ones containing sugar have a more solid filling texture, these ones are a little mushier inside, and it's a nice change. That, and the fact that there's no sugar, but also no artificial sweeteners like Splenda (sucralose) or Nutra Sweet (aspartame) is the only reason I even tried these. I highly recommend!

Be Aware of Certain Sugar Substitutes Used in Products
Maltitol, Lactitol, Isomalt and Sorbitol -- the sugar substitutes used in this product can be pure poison to some individuals. I am one of those people. Granted, the makers of this product warn it can have a laxative effect (that's from the above-mentioned sugar substitutes, not the product itself), but some of us go way beyond experiencing a laxative effect to debilitating diarrhea even with moderate consumption of cookies or candies made with these sugar substitutes.
