Customer Reviews
rain or shine or even snow
Right after I bought these, I had an entire weekend of rain followed by about 6-7 inches of snow. In addition to the numerous compliments, chookas did not fail me in the rain or the snow.
The rubber bottoms prevented any slips on ice, and because the boot gradually becomes wider, I found it easy to tuck in my jeans/sweatpants.
I bought a size 9, even though I'm generally an 8-8.5 and found it to be a snug fit. The soles and cushioning are much more comfortable than I had expected. Definitely a must buy!
Cute but Poor Quality
I bought these boots last winter because they were so cute (I bought the navy blue ones with whales on them), but after about 5 or 6 times out in the rain, the rubber broke on both boots between the sole and the leg of the boot! I was out on a really rainy day when I first noticed it and my feet and socks were soaked in water after walking through one puddle! They were still cute, but I had to throw them away.
Nice boots, but don't fit
I have really skinny calves, so I don't really know what I was doing buying galoshes. The calf area was much too big and I had to return them. They were cute, though.
