Purchased this cd for my hubby who is a big GNR fan, he enjoyed the cd.
quit with the griping
i'm fed up with these "in-coherent" reviewers dissin' this album yeah it may not be full blown "guns and roses" hey-day style music it's more in the vein of latter rollin' stones but is that a bad thing? in my opipion it isn't
this is my second stradlin album my first was "izzy and the ju ju hounds"
but this beats that by an inch, for the pure essence of stradlin puttin' his heart and soil into writin' catchy melodies with a great band to back him up with duff mckagan playin' bass and acostic guitar..
i just wish people would give izzy stradlin a chance and not be narrowed minded and fobe off an ex-member of a famous hard rock hair metal band..as a bad man's rolllin' stone
this guy beats the sh88 out of most of the whipper snappers in diapers these days..

Solid Tunes, Terrible Production
What the HELL happened in the studio? The production on this disc is some of the worst ever...I've heard bootlegs that sounded better than this! Muffled to the point of distraction...the drum sound is especially atrocious, gutless, no punch at all, like the drummer was playing empty oatmeal boxes. The sound almost completely ruins what would otherwise be another pretty decent release. Stick with the previous 3 discs, PLEASE don't let this be your total introduction to Izzy...he deserves better.
