Customer Reviews

I always watched it when I was a kid.5
I LOVE this movie. This was the movie I grew up on as a kid. I watched it at least 5 times a day and never grew tired of it. About the tale of the American Rabbit, the ultimate superhero. Characterized by blue and white starred ears and a red and white stripped body. An excellent kids movie. BUY IT.

Best Cartoon Ever!5
I also watched this religiously when I was growing up. I had it permanently rented out from the video store. It was just last year that I hunted it down again. Since then I've watched it several times. There's something so clever about the whole thing. And there's all these obscure references to Nazism and Capitalism and I even think some of the characters probably represent historical figures. My 8 year old niece also really loved it.

A true Classic ~ one I will always love5
I first saw this film here in the UK in the mid 1980's, when I noticed it at the local rental shop. My dad made a copy for me, and I watched it for years. But one day, the tape gave out, and had to be thrown away.

But {finally!}, a copy is on it's way to me now, so I can re-live those happy memories, and be able to share them when I have kids.

The American Rabbit {as was the title over here}, is a wonderful tale for kids and adults alike. It shows that good will triumph over evil, that anyone can be a hero, and that the world isn't always the terrible place we all seem to think it is.

Rob shows that the most unlikely of heroes can save the day.

Buy this film, enjoy it, share it, and remember the days when childrens films had some morals and substance to them.
