MUST READ!
This is a MUST READ for any couple that's engaged or starting to think/talk about getting engaged. My church used this workbook as curriculum for a weekly home-group class (8 weeks in a living room), offered to a few couples at a time. Your church should do the same - I wish every couple could go through this book before committing to marriage.

But the book alone is very valuable - buy 2: one for you, and one for your "significant other", because the way it works is that you both read it and answer the excellent questions individually, and then you compare and discuss your answers later. Our church-sponsored class started with 5 couples, and 3 couples dropped out and broke up, but my fiance and I, along with one other couple, couldn't be surer that we're "meant to be"!

A Must-Read before Marriage!
We purchased this book to use during the premarital counseling session at our church. The exercises in this text have been extremely helpful and thought-provoking. While we had already discussed many of the issues addressed in the book, it provided us with a useful framework for more in-depth analysis of our relationship. It also helped us think about how we can improve our relationship. We intend to refer back to it over time so that we can maintain a healthy, loving marriage. I highly recommend this book to couples who are considering marriage, engaged couples AND married couples.
