Not a theologian
I am just an average stay at home mom who wanted a quality Bible to assist in understanding the Word of God better. I am not an idiot. I am not a scholar. I just fall in the middle somewhere like most people. This Bible really has all the characteristics that a regular guy (gal) needs or could want. I am really pleased with it and particularly impressed with the excellent quality of the workmanship of the book itself. Very nice. Quite big and heavy I might add, not something to carry in my purse. Very sufficient for my needs for Bible study. I really like the book summaries and the word focus that gives me more indepth understanding.

One of the Best Study Bibles. Ever.
The New King James Version is a great Bible translation. I have a MacArthur Study Bible, but I disagree with some parts of his theology (his New Puritan leanings as found in his lordship salvation). So I resorted to other Bibles which had a more balanced view (like the NIV Study Bible and the Life Application Study Bible in the NLT).

This Bible brought me back to the NKJV. More importantly, it presents many clear application notes that make Scripture even more understandable. Highly recommended for all who want a clear study Bible!

This New King James Bible version is really nice. It's bound in leather and has lots of good helps in it. It is the King James Bible without the thees and thous. It also works good with my Crudens concordance. The price was good too.
