Well done
This titillating documentary unmasks the mysteries of bondage-domination and sadomasochism by demonstrating actual techniques for spanking, electrotorture, needle play and rope bondage -- and explaining how the use of pain and submission can bring pleasure to the human body. In addition, interviews with bondage practitioners such as Mistress Aphrodite, Dominatrix Miko and performance artist Steven offer first-person perspectives.

Just short of being...
Being a well read lover of fetish and S&M, it is refreshing to see the subject material taken seriously and skillfully in a documentary that doesn't shy away from the mature material. However, while very well written and edited, shaky camera work and some poor lighting in certain scenes do detract from the over all experience.

The DVD is very informative overall and a must for those who would like to learn more about the scene in a non threatening way.

I did find the cover to be slightly misleading, the latex catsuit and the blurred out gasmasked figure led me to believe that the DVD would cover the subject of Latex fetish, it focused on the D/s, S&M and Bondage side of the lifestyle and did not cover Latex at all.

Poorly done
My husband and I just finished making ourselves watch this DVD. We've been practicing aspects of that lifestyle for maybe a year now, and were hoping to get some fresh ideas. Not so. The section on bondage and rope work was okay, the rest honestly sucked. The lighting and colors were off, most people weren't miked so we had to keep turning up to TV to hear them, and then the music would come on and we'd have to hurry and turn the sound back down. It runs like a cheap commercial for Ball and Chains, where the dommes practice their trade. It felt unscripted and one of the dommes in particular was incredibly annoying and kept on talking and talking aimlessly. The film felt cheesy, cheap and looked like a couple of high schoolers filmed it, with weird color combinations and dated sound effects.

We had hoped for a lot more action and a lot less talking. Wouldn't buy it again and will not watch it again. Keep your money and buy something else. It's painful to watch.
