This kit was nicer than I expected and you dont need to buy the separate $13 brick and pushers5
This kit was nicer than I expected and you dont need to buy the separate $13 brick and pushers.

If you're an amateur horologist like me then you learn to appreciate the necessity for a decent and diverse set of tools.

I purchased this kit to work on 22mm Omega bracelets since they can be tough and their sturdiness and substance make them a challenge for cheap pin pushers.

This kit includes a 0.8 and 1.0 mm pushers and the brick to use a holding vise to rest your band on, but to be safe I also paid the $13 for just the brick kit and Watch Band Link Remover With Case Holder and the only advantage the separate brick has is heavier duty pushers and a larger but unwieldy spring pin remover (see pics).

The $20 kit has everything I need to dismantle the toughest bracelets even those impossible link screws in the Breitling Professional bracelets.

So I'll keep the brick for my other workbench but this kit works through every bracelet I own.

The best parts of this kit:
The blue pin pusher is made of sturdier plastic than the individual pushers of the same design I've purchased, it isn't capable of handling wider bracelets but the metal pins are less prone to bending since I used this blue pusher to remove a link that bent two other -Heavy Duty Watch Band Tool Link Pin Remover with 2 extra pins Heavy Duty Watch Band Sizing Tool Link Pin Remover for Bracelet Adjustments (4) EXTRA PINSpushers. (when you buy a $4 tool.. you get a flimsy $4 tool!)
-The brick is comparable to the individual $10-$13 brick set and the pin pushers in this kit are slightly smaller but capable of completely punching out an 18mm pin while removing enough of a 22mm.
-The mallet has a softer silicone and stainless steel ends.
-The tweezers points are small enough for ornate work while the larger frame is useful for effective grip.
There is a case back remover and red handled fixed blade case separator which I don't plan on using, I dread opening cases and prefer professional to accept those duties and responsibilities.

Some parts of this kit are rather flimsy and low quality:
The needle nose pliers spring popped out at first use and impossible to reinstall, keep your reliable pair of needle nose pliers around and use the kit version an emergency spare.
The small screwdrivers aren't stronger or better than any other found in a drug store eyeglass repair kit and can serve as an extra set or emergency spares.
There are a pair of small plastic handled red and black phillips screwdrivers identical to the one that was included with old Visor Palm PDA's. Since the grips are tiny, they are impossible to gain any useful leverage and small enough become lost until the vacuum cleaner finds them and chips soemething vital

Watch Bands Made Easy4
Excellent though some what inexpensive tools to work on your watch. Easy to use and does what is needed. I'm impressed with them. Would recommend them for home use on a normal number of watches. Would buy again.

Affordable & Perfect for my needs.5
The product provided me with the necessary tools to do what would have cost me a bunch of money at a jeweler. I'm very pleased and have used it quite a b it so far.
