How can you tell if the Eco-Drive watch is getting enough light?
In normal use, the watch displays the time and the sweep-second hand moves in one second intervals. A very important feature of Eco-Drive is the Low Charge Warning Mode which as a result of low battery voltage, causes the second hand to jump two seconds at a time (while still keeping correct time).

How long will an Eco-Drive watch run after it is fully charged?
If your watch is put away where no light is available to it while in a fully charged state, depending on the model, it will run for from 45 days to 5 years.

How can the Eco-Drive watch be recharged?
Besides sunlight, it can be safely charged by exposing it to a fluorescent desk lamp, with the dial (face) up and within about 8 inches or an incandescent lamp (regular light bulb) no closer than 20 inches. Never use a halogen lamp since the heat generated by it can cause damage to your watch. The most efficient and the quickest is in direct bright sunlight (not windowsill) and never on the dashboard of a car.

Very nice watch...
This watch is really nice...First, it is an Eco-Drive but it is also a very good looking watch...I'm a watch collector, going from Rolex, Breitling and other brands...to my Eco-Drives, six of them, that I love...I mean, you do not have to worry with this watches...just put them on...

The most economical and funtional watch I've ever purchased
I am very happy with this Citizen Eco-Drive watch. The quality seems to surpass the price tag. It is stylish and classic. I synched the watch with my atomic clock at home right after receiving the watch. It has not lost a second after two months. I wish there was a way to tell the battery level, but that is not a big deal. I know I will wear this watch for a long time and would recommend Citizen Eco-Drive watches to any one who enjoys advanced technology and doesn't like to burn a big whole in his/her wallet.

Bought this watch
I bought this watch wanting a solar powered watch that would need as little maintenance as possible. I have only had the watch a week, so I can't attest to it's longevity or durability, however I can say that the watch feels good on my wrist (after a proper fitting), it has a nice heft to it that makes it feel like a solid build. The second hand is lined up well with the faces second markers, a complaint I have seen with other models, but mine is fine. It is an over all nice watch and nice too look at.
