How can you tell if the Eco-Drive watch is getting enough light?
In normal use, the watch displays the time and the sweep-second hand moves in one second intervals. A very important feature of Eco-Drive is the Low Charge Warning Mode which as a result of low battery voltage, causes the second hand to jump two seconds at a time (while still keeping correct time).

How long will an Eco-Drive watch run after it is fully charged?
If your watch is put away where no light is available to it while in a fully charged state, depending on the model, it will run for from 45 days to 5 years.

How can the Eco-Drive watch be recharged?
Besides sunlight, it can be safely charged by exposing it to a fluorescent desk lamp, with the dial (face) up and within about 8 inches or an incandescent lamp (regular light bulb) no closer than 20 inches. Never use a halogen lamp since the heat generated by it can cause damage to your watch. The most efficient and the quickest is in direct bright sunlight (not windowsill) and never on the dashboard of a car.

Beautiful Watch
I love the fact that this is an eco-drive watch. I can put it in the sun for a little while and let the battery charge. And you don't even need sunlight to charge the battery. It's very practical. The diamonds aren't overkill at all. I do wish that I bought the titanium model instead though. But I still love this watch.

The only problem I had with it, is that the date wouldn't set properly. It would'nt catch so I had to manually turn the hour and minute hand to set the date. That would be the only draw back to this watch.

Nice Watch, not water resistant to 100 meters
The watch is very pretty. Note that Amazon tech. specs incorrectly reads 100m (300 ft) water resistant. According to the owners manual all 100m water resistant Citizen watches read 100m on the dial. This one does not.

Generally Happy With It
Purchased this to give to my wife. She wanted an elegant watch, but yet not overly dressy. When I presented it to her, she quite liked what she saw. She complimented the sturdy and easily operated band. Also the dial is easy to read, and overall it seems to be a nicely built time piece. One thing I want to comment is that don't expect to see a lot of "diamonds". Although the 12 diamonds are genuine, they are extremely tiny. The picture here shows that they are sizable, but keep in mind it's being magnified to much larger view. When I hold it in my hand, I had to look rather hard to notice the diamonds. I would say this is a fine watch one could wear day to day, but not a jewelry watch reserves for special occasion.
