About the Author
Malcolm Campbell is a former editor of Europe's most widely read golf magazine, Golf Monthly. He is an internationally respected golf writer who travels the world to bring to his readers the wonderful world of golf in all its facets, from its history to its famous courses and to the secrets of playing the game itself. He is the auhtor of several best-selling books across a diverse range of golf topics. He has been a category one player and a golf administrator, and lives in Scotland near the Home of Golf itself, St. Andrews. He is Captain of the James Braid Golfing Society and a member of several golf clubs, including the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews.

Glyn Satterley is an award-winning photographer whose work has been exhibited throughout Britain from the Photographers' Gallery in London, to the Royal Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh. He was commissioned by the Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers to produce the photographs for the 250th anniversary book of the Club and has won much acclaim for his golf course photography. He lives near Edinburgh and works as a free lance photographer for numerous British and international publications including the Independent Magazine, Daily Telegraph, Country Life, Harpers & Queen, Forbes, and Newsweek.

Very complete guide to golf in Scotland
I bought this book "on site" in Scotland in 2000. A really great book. I agree with the descriptions of the courses, at least the dozen of the I've played. A funny thing is that the chapter about scottish players, the players of the future does NOT include Paul Lawrie, who soon after the book was printed became the first Scot to win the Open for a long time. But despite that, the book is great. You will find all the inspiration you need here.
