Nice Book--But DONT BUY IT ONLINE
My new copy of Dicho y Hecho 8th Ed arrived without the required access code to the website. It cost me $40.00 more to buy it from Amazon than new from the student bookstore;
Usually I check Amazon first when I need a required textbook for a course. For this one, I don't recommend it. Dicho Y Hecho 8th Edition and its workbook came sealed in a wrapper from the manufacturer, Wiley and Sons. However our college requires access to the wileyplus website. A code to access the website is supposed to be included with the book. My copy did not have one.
Wiley Publishing says that access to the website is free with the purchase of a new book. However, I was unable to reach anyone at Wiley by email or telephone in the past 5 days. The local Wiley rep (phone # given by my professor) did not return my phone call. Since we're in Summer Session, I can't believe he is that busy.
Because web access to this site is required, I have to purchase an access code for an additional $56.95 to keep from falling behind in class and losing points.
I thought I would save $10.00 getting it online. Instead, it has cost me an extra $40.00.
If you choose to buy this book online, be aware that your new book may arrive incomplete.
Try to get your code directly thru Wiley, or thru the local rep that may be known to your professor or the school bookstore--
And if you run out of time, be prepared to pay a lot more...Dicho y Hecho 8e Binder Ready Version (Spanish Edition)
Access Code Not Included.
The text book was received in a couple of days, which was excellent timing. But I was disappointed that the book did not include the access code that's required for the college course. During my investigation, I discovered that the publisher, Wiley & Sons only include access codes with college book stores. So I was forced to buy the access code from Wiley.

No student access code
One would think that a new book would come with the CDs and the student access code. I have been purchasing textbooks from Amazon for the past three years and never had a problem until this summer. This book arrived minus the student access code which will now cost me $51.95. This is a shame. It should be stated clearly on the site that the book does not include the code, so that we could look elsewhere. However if Amazon were to do this they would miss out on sales, so why bother. I feel hoodwinked by the transaction. Why sell a new book minus all of the necessry CDs and codes, used I can understand but not new. This is truly atrocious.
