| What is a Digital Camera? A Digital Camera is not like the older conventional camera as it takes pictures digitally and stores them digitally i.e. no film is needed. When you take a picture with a Digital Camera you can view the picture immediately on a small screen on the camera and delete it if it is no good i.e. no film developing required and no wasted film. As the pictures are stored digitally in the camera they can be easily transferred to a computer for printing or you can get the pictures printed by other equipment that can read the cameras memory card or you could send your pictures over the internet to a company that will then send you normal looking printed photos.
