it's a pretty cool addition. as a collector it's somewhat of an addiction. my girlfriend will call it an affliction, I call it a piece from a bygone time for which i have affection.

Wow, this rocks!
I've wanted a stormtrooper helmet since I was a kid watching Star Wars back in '77. There are a ton of helmets available at various prices, and I really couldn't tell the difference in quality. This helmet may be the most expensive (or close to it), but it's definitely worth the money. The interior is foam padded on the top and sides, and although it could be a better foam, there's nothing to stop anybody from replacing it. It also has foam around the eyepieces for added comfort. The lenses are a dark green and offer fairly good visibility (considering it's a stormtrooper helmet). There is black nylon mesh behind the grey nose stripe and this allows for breathability. There are also wire screens over the ends of the "radio knobs" at the lower front of the helmet. Most of the seams are well hidden, but there's one that runs across the bridge of the nose, just below the grey stripe that separates the lower front piece from the rest of the helmet. It's not noticeable head-on, but from the side it stands out a bit. And for a big-headed guy like me, this thing is a snug fit. I can only put it on or take it off like Luke and Han in Star Wars: turn it sideways. In case this review sounds too harsh, I still love this helmet in spite of some minor flaws, and it will be the pride of my collection for years to come.
