pretty nifty
This product is about as simple as you can get, but a great idea none-the-less. It is fairly flexible and has a split on the front of the loop so it is impossible for things to get stuck in it. It won't hold anything heavy, not because of the suction cup but because of the split. We use ours to hold toothbrushes in the shower. They do a great job keeping them away from any mildew and soap scum that might appear between scrubbings.
Not worth the $1.99 I paid
I was excited to find something that would hold our toothbrushes, razors, etc. so that we could clear up some counter space. I put the holders up on the shower wall, but they keep falling down even though I cleaned the shower wall and the suction cup backing of the holder to where both were literally squeaky clean. They just don't stay. They're not that aesthetically pleasing, either. Looks like cheap bulky plastic suction cups. The "clip/ring" that is supposed to hold your razor is the about the circumference of a cigar. It's also flimsy, so you can put something into it by peeling each side back of the "ring" but I wish it could hold objects smaller than a cigar, since my toothbrush just slips through it. I bought 4 sets because I thought I could put it to use in all of our bathrooms. Bottom line: It doesn't work on shower wall surface. Maybe you can glue it/adhere it somehow.
