Good idea - Bad Design! The "Lip" for pushing against the wood could be a little bigger; only extends down 1/4 inch allowing the potential of slipping up over the stock being pushed through. 1/2 inch would be more practical and safer.

Handy Device at a great price
I have used this a few times and I like it very much. It has a short reach, but that makes it nice for smaller jobs. It holds a pencil and has a nice rule included for setting the blade height or whatever. I also love the magnet that keeps it close and handy so it doesn't get lost !!
