Volume 8 of this popular series of CDs is new for 2005 and marks the 20th anniversary of this project which features singers and songwriters from the Pacific Northwest to benefit Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle, Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland and Children’s Miracle Network in Spokane. Christmas in the Northwest 8 features top Northwest artists like Dave Matthews Band, HEART, Pete Droge, Harvey Danger and Super Deluxe and the return of Tingstad and Rumbel, Gypsy Soul and Grant Goodeve and new songs from LeRoy Bell, Misty River, Tony Cea and more. As of 2004, this project has raised over $700,000 for Children's Hospitals, and net proceeds from the sale of this CD benefit northwest children’s hospitals - so that no child is turned away, regardless of their ability to pay for medical care.

A Perfect Gift!
I love this albumn! I got Christmas in the Northwest Volume 7 last year from my sister for Christmas and couldn't stop listening. I planned to buy it this year as a Christmas gift for my friends and family and couldn't believe that Dave Matthews is included on Volume 8! I had to buy another one for myself. And knowing that all the proceeds go charity is amazing. A perfect gift!!!
