Insulated water bottle
No, this doesn't keep water cold at all. My water stays colder in a regular un-insulated bottle. I ended up purchasing from Green Mountain Coffe, an insulated thermos where you push a button to open lid and it's great.
Mixed Emotions
I bought two of these to replace the typical BPA leaching plastic water bottles available. While I appreciate their size and insulating properties, I find they still produce a plastic taste in the water if left inside for a day or two. Non-BPA, or not, I'm disappointed in the aftertaste. I'll be getting Klean Kanteen stainless steel water bottles to replace them.
Disappointed
I bought the 24 oz. bottle. I am disappointed that it does sweat a lot and leaves a puddle on my desk. Also, I filled it completely with ice, then with cold water, and even in an air conditioned office, the water was warm after 4 hours. I expected it to last longer. Last night I filled the bottle half/way and put in the freezer, then filled with cold water this morning and at noon I still have cool water. I do like the wide mouth which makes it easy to put ice in. I will keep looking for the perfect water bottle!
