"If you have an accident you sit on the potty." After potty party we didn't use her again. If you have friends with kids, buy one and pass around.

Buy new: $16.90 RECOMMENDED FOR MID TO LATE TRAINING. We bought these for those first few trips to public toilets. My daughter loves Dora, so that was good. They stick in place so you're not fighting with paper covers or toilet paper.

RECOMMENDED FOR ALL STAGES. Keep it simple...! Cheap. The pot part lifts out without having to lift up the lid so my daughter could easily lift it out to dump in big toilet. We bought one for each bathroom.

Buy new: $23.99 My parents bought this potty for their house since my daughter spends quite a bit of time with them. I don't like it as much as ours, b/c you have to lift the seat to remove the pot party to dump. Its another step which makes it harder.

Buy new: $17.49 This was the first potty I bought, but you have to lift the seat to pull the bowl out to dump. I liked the simpler design of "Safety 1st 3 in 1 Step Stool" because you can just pull the bowl out. We kept it and put in our basement, so if my daughter is downstairs doing laundry with me, we don't have to race upstairs to go potty.

Buy new: $9.98 / Used from: $1.30 NOT RECOMMENDED. My daughter loves Elmo, but this story was complicated and did not help with potty training. She liked to play with it while sitting on the potty, but as parents we hated it. The Dora sound potty book was much better because the story was helpful.
