I suppose the plot may be a little cliched, but it is a fresh take and definitely something for the younger generation to enjoy, especially indie/artsy people. Anyone will enjoy this movie, no matter what your ethnicity/culture.

Buy used from: $38.70 These are my two favorite Christopher Guest films (I love Waiting for Guffman and Spinal Tap also). A mighty wind is about a folk music commemorative concert, and Best in Show is about a Dog Show. Both will have you rolling with laughter.

Buy new: $16.49 / Used from: $7.93 A great movie, similar in tone to Good Will Hunting but ultimately better in my opinion. Robin Williams is great in this, and you'll recognize a young Ethan Hawke, too. This movie always inspires me, and has plenty of humor, too. Spoiler: it does have a tragic ending.

Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $4.99 My favorite Wes Anderson movie. This is a great look at family relationships, and how you can feel like an alien in your own house sometimes.

 | Sweet and Lowdown
Buy used from: $1.98 My favorite Woody Allen movie. This one is an outstanding film/mockumentary. Sean Penn is great...only thing that bugs me is when he pretends to play guitar. This is a tragicomedy, tragic in the old Greek sense. This has a great soundtrack, too.

Buy used from: $6.99 This is an old old Woody Allen flick--he and some buddies bought the rights to an old Japanese spy movie, took out the audio track, and record their own dialogue, making the movie quite funny. Pretty goofy and not for everyone, but definitely creative and funny.
