A motor automatically does the work of lowering and raising items when they're inserted into the two slots this cool, contemporary toaster provides for bread, bagels, and English muffins. The slots measure 5-1/8 by 1-1/8 inches, so they accommodate all of those items, including extra-thick bread. One button on the matte-black control panel sets the toaster for browning bagels on the cut side only while just warming the other side. Another button for frozen items adds extra time for defrosting before toasting begins. A third button cancels toasting, causing items to rise immediately. Seven electronic settings offer precise browning control. A slide-out tray catches crumbs. The toaster is encased in stainless steel with two stylish finishes: brushed on the sides and satin on the top. WOW. It actually workz.
This toaster puts the truth in tht saying fashion and function. It might not be the cheapest but it sure makes my mornings. The wife and I need to be on one of those Leggo my Eggo commercial`s. What a great toaster from a great company. Two thumb`s up and a good day to ya.

Great Toaster
This is the same toaster that is also sold as the Farberware FCT200 "Down Right" Classic 2-slice Toaster. As far as I can tell, the only difference besides the price is the finish on the Hoofritz is satin finish, which I would have preferred. This toaster is fantastic. Some might think it silly to pay for a toaster that self-lowers. Yes, it is a "luxury", but well worth it. It makes GREAT toasted anything.

terrible
My first toaster didn't work at all! I sent it back to the
company for a replacement. The second one had a seriously
flawed finish and toasted only one side of the bread!
