Love these glasses
I have owned a smaller size set of these glasses for over a year and these large ones for over 6 months. They are beautiful to look at and hold, and do a wonderful job of keeping drinks hot or cold.

As for the complaints about their fragility- yes, these are fairly thin glass. You can't treat them like plastic, or even heavy duty glass. They say that they are dishwasher safe, but they really aren't. There is a tiny pinhole at the bottom from the glass-blowing process. Moisture will enter between the walls if the glasses are put in the dishwasher. (After developing this problem with one glass, I stopped using the dishwasher for them and sealed the holes in the other glasses with a drop of super glue - no more problems.) But, I have not found the glass to be super-fragile. I have knocked them over on my granite counter top. I have dropped ice cubes into them. No problems.

Neat idea, decent execution
I've had these glasses for four months now, and they did a great job keeping cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot. They look neat, too. Unfortunately both glasses have broken during regular use; they are extremely brittle. My normal glasses I've had in use for about three years and not one has broken. I wouldn't recommend these except as a "special occasion" kind of glassware.

Bodum Pavina 21oz
After 6 month we have had good luck with these and use in dishwasher and ice out of Sub Zero dispensor with no problems. Here in Hawaii we need double wall glasses and these are great.
We are carefull with them but not ridiculously so. Everybody that uses them wants some. Highly recommend.
